Sankranti Rewritten History: CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said this Sankranti has rewritten the history of public administration. He shared the message as Sankranti celebrations continued across the Telugu states with enthusiasm and traditional fervour.

Sankranti celebrations are going on with great pomp. Villages are decorated with beautiful garlands and fried dishes. Young and old are taking part in the festivities by flying kites. Meanwhile, several leaders extended greetings to people on the festival. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed his wishes. At the same time, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shared his message through social media.

Sankranti Rewritten History and public administration

The Chief Minister said the festival marked a major shift in public administration. He linked the occasion with the efforts of farmers and government action. In his message, Revanth Reddy highlighted procurement at the support price during the season. He said the government stood by food providers.

“Sankranti is the festival when farmers get their hands on a harvest of six-gallons of hard work. This Sankranti has rewritten the history of public administration. This season, we have purchased 70.82 lakh metric tons of paddy at the support price. We stand by the food provider. Happy Sankranti to the people,” Chief Minister Revanth Reddy tweeted.

The Chief Minister’s statement came as celebrations continued across the state. The message focused on farmers and procurement during the season. He underlined the role of public administration in supporting them. Therefore, he described the festival as a turning point
