Hyderabad, Jan.31 (Maxim News): Senior journalist Sant Swami Maharaja Ponnala Gouri Shankar said he would take up a Cycle Yatra to Medaram to celebrate the upcoming Sammakka-Sarakka jatara. He released a poster on the occasion.
The poster was released by the editor of Telangana monthly magazine A. Rammohan and director and assistant director of IPR department of state Nagayya Kamble and MA Hashmi released the poster separately.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the Yatra would begin in Hyderabad and cover 300 km till Medaram. He said he was undertaking the Yatra as he had a vow to fulfill and added that he took the vow that he would visit Medaram if separate Telangana State becomes a reality. (Maxim News)
