SC commission serious over Ramya’s murder case
Guntur, Aug.24 (Maxim News): The National SC Commission has taken the recent sensational murder of BTech student from the district Ramya seriously. The vice chairman of the national SC commission Arun Helder has said that they were seriously investigating into the murder case. He along with other members of the commission has visited the family members of Ramya at their residence in Guntur.
The members of the Commission have inquired about the circumstances that led to the murder of the victim. They also inquired about the steps initiated by the state government in the issue.
Speaking to media persons later, Arun said that they would take steps to ensure punishment to the accused of the murder of the victim Ramya.
Meanwhile, the activists of BJP Mahila Morcha held a protest program demanding the police to allow them to meet the commission members. However the Police did not allow them. When the Mahila Morcha activists tried to barged towards the building where the members were staying to meet them, the police forcefully stopped them. The incident has led to a mild stampede in the area. A BJP activist by name Nalini has fallen unconscious in the stampede. (Maxim News)
