Hyderabad, May 16: Several people suffered serious injuries after a clash between two groups in Rayaparthi mandal of Warangal district on Friday night.
The incident took place at Marri Thanda under Surya Thanda following a land dispute between two groups led by Ramavat Gasya and Ramavat Rekhya, police said.
According to local reports, tensions escalated during the night, leading to a violent attack involving knives.
Those injured in the clash include Ramavat Gasya, Ramavat Rekhya, Kiran, Rajender, Naveen and Jeevan.
Locals shifted the injured to MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment. Hospital sources said the condition of some victims is critical.
After receiving information, Rayaparthi police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Police have started an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
