Hyderabad, June 29: Telangana Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir expressed deep sorrow over the demise of noted Islamic scholar, author and educator Maulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadwi, who passed away in Lucknow following a brief illness.
In his condolence message, Shabbir Ali described the passing of Maulana Salman Nadwi as a significant loss to the Muslim community, Islamic scholarship and religious education.
Shabbir Ali said Maulana Salman Nadwi was widely respected for his scholarship in Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Seerah and contemporary Islamic thought.
He noted that through his teaching, writings and educational contributions, the scholar guided generations of students and made lasting contributions to Islamic education and intellectual development.
According to Shabbir Ali, Maulana Nadwi’s long association with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama and his involvement in educational institutions reflected his lifelong dedication to knowledge, reform and community service.
Shabbir Ali said Maulana Salman Nadwi would be remembered as a distinguished scholar, inspiring teacher and influential voice on issues concerning the Muslim world.
He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members, students, followers and admirers of the late scholar.
“May Allah grant him maghfirat, elevate his ranks in Jannatul Firdaus and give strength and patience to his family, students and followers,” he said.
