Shabbir Slams CM KCR For Criticizing Congress

Hyderabad, May 6 (Maxim News): Former Minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for his criticism on Congress party during media briefing yesterday.

Addressing a press conference in Kamareddy, Shabbir Ali said people had lot of expectations from the State Cabinet which met for over seven-and-a-half hours on Tuesday. While poor and middle class people expected a good relief package, the industry wanted some financial support. However, nothing came during the Chief Minister’s press meet. He made usual announcements which had nothing for the common people. Instead of addressing people’s issue, CM KCR wasted people’s time criticising the opposition parties.

Shabbir said that the Chief Minister should’ve been ashamed of himself for not delivering the promises which he made on March 22. So far, the lockdown has been extended thrice. But except for 12 kg rice and Rs. 1500 cash for White Ration Card holders no other section of the society has been given any help.

“Before commenting on the Congress party, KCR must realise that he began his political career from the Congress party as Youth Congress activists. More than half of his cabinet, legislators and rank and file had origins in the Congress party. Therefore, KCR should know what happens when someone spits in the sky. The 133-year-old party created many legends and it is still the best university to learn politics,” he said.
Ali advised KCR to leave the habit of self-praise. “KCR always try to say that he is the best and no other person in the country is doing what he does. He said KCR should spend some time to read newspapers to learn what’s happening around the world, especially in our country. Chattisgarh State has been doing exemplary work in procurement of agricultural produce. Similarly, Punjab and other Congress ruled States have implemented the crop loan waiver and procured agricultural produce in such a manner that farmers did not face any problem.

The Congress leader feared that the State Government was suppressing data on Coronavirus infection in Telangana State. He said without conducting tests how the government was concluding that there was a decline in number of cases. He also ridiculed KCR’s claim that his government established a 1500-bedded hospital in less than a month. He said the facility at Gachibowli Sports Village was not more than a lodge as it does not have doctors, medical and nursing staff or required equipment and facilities. It only has beds and bed sheets which makes it a perfect lodge and not a hospital.

Earlier, Shabbir Ali and other leaders also participated in distribution of ration kits, milk and other essentials among the poor. They also took part in spraying operations near Kamareddy DCC office. (Maxim News)
