The focus will be on practical, hands-on training through collaborations with media houses, OTT platforms, YouTube creators, and PR firms. Students will be trained using Siasat’s extensive media network and will receive certificates, internships, and expert guidance to launch freelance careers, start YouTube channels, or produce podcasts.

Within six to twelve months of launching the Academy, the Foundation will initiate the second phase – a full-fledged Media Incubation Centre. This Centre will identify top-performing students and promising startups, offering them co-working spaces, access to studios and professional equipment, business mentorship from industry leaders, and seed funding supported by CSR initiatives and media development grants. It will also provide launchpad assistance to help creators build and scale projects such as hyperlocal YouTube channels, minority voice podcasts, journalism startups, animation ventures, news portals, and digital marketing agencies.
