Sigachi Industries CEO Arrested in Fire Tragedy Case

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (Maxim News): Patancheru police arrested Amit Raj Sinha, CEO of the Sigachi industry, where 54 people died in the reactor explosion, on Sunday. He was later produced in court. The court remanded him.

On June 30, 2025, a reactor explosion occurred in the Sigachi industry in the Pashamylaram industrial estate. 54 workers died in this accident. All were burnt alive. Some of them are still missing. Those injured in this accident, received treatment in various hospitals. There were 143 workers in the Sigachi industry at the time of the accident. 61 of them survived.

In this accident, the bodies were burned beyond recognition. In this context, DNA tests were conducted on the respective bodies. After that, the bodies were handed over to their respective family members.

However, the police registered a case regarding this accident. Although it has been almost a few months since the incident, the government is facing criticism for not arresting the CEO of the Sigachi Industry, Amit Raj Sinha. (Maxim News)
