Six other persons travelling in the vehicle escaped with injuries. Of them, the condition of three persons was serious, according to police. The injured were rushed to the government hospital in Nizamabad district.

The accident occurred around 1.30 pm when 12 people were returning home in a Qualis after offering prayers in a dargah at Nanded.
