Smooth Polls in Huzurabad amid the corona protocols: CEO Goel

Hyderabad, Oct.29 (Maxim News): Telangana Election Commissioner Shashank Goel said that they made all arrangements for the polling in Huzurabad by using webcasting, officials and police.

There are 20 companies of central forces, 3865 police personnel are on security jobs at the polling stations. Corona protocols are followed at these polling stations and technical staff will attend to any problems if they arise, he said.

He urged the voters in the segment for smooth and fair polling and to make use of their votes to cast votes from 7 am to 7 pm.

In a meeting with officials the poll body instructed for the fair polls. The officials informed that Rs 3.52cr cash and other materials were seized in the raids and inspections in the segment going for polls.

The officials instructed the staff to attend to complaints related to violation of the poll code like luring voters with money, gifts and other materials. We are attending to all complaints by the political parties and others, he said. Law and order is key as Corona protocols are being followed, Shashank Goel said.

The CEO said that with use of web casting and effective coordination by the officials the polls will be held in a fair manner. (Maxim News)
