Hyderabad, April 26 (Maxim News): Telangana Information Technology Association launched an initiative #ThankYouJournalist. Under this TITA will look to offer a goodie bag that will include staples like rice, groceries, gloves, masks, sanitisers and thermal screeners to journalists in Telangana.

Announcing this, TITA Founder and Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala expressed gratitude for the media fraternity saying it supported TITA from its inception during the separate Statehood struggle till now. He said media has been an integral part of the various milestones that TITA has achieved so far and in highlighting problems in the IT industry.

The new campaign has already begun in Makthal mandal of Narayanpet district. TITA had recently launched a telemedicine project, TConsult, from the same mandal.

TITA prez said he is aware of the tough working conditions of journalists as he himself comes from a family of a journalist. Makthala also urged NRI techies to be part of the new initiative.

“We are thinking of providing rice and groceries to journalists, who are front line warriors like the health and hygiene workers, police and others. This will come handy in some rural locations. Likewise, we want to offer some gloves, masks, sanitisers, soaps, thermal screeners and other tools to aid journalists in their fight against coronavirus,” Makthala said. (Maxim News)
