Internet/Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News) Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra on Thursday alleged that she was harassed by five or six men on an IndiGo Airlines flight to Delhi. She posted on her ‘X’ that the incident took place while she was on her way to attend a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Affairs. She had left for Delhi on flight 6E 719 on official duty. Five or six men, who boarded the flight in a group, looked at her indecently and went towards the back seats.
Mahua alleged that the people were making fun of her while she was standing at the door after she got off the plane. Mahua has attached her ex-post to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and IndiGo. She has complained to the airline to identify the people and put them on the ‘no fly’ list. She said that she went to a meeting without paying much attention to the incident, but later some Sanghis (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh activists) saw the video going viral and are bringing this matter to light. She lashed out, saying, ‘This is BJP culture.’ (Maxim News)
