Hyderabad, Sept. 12: A 19 year old man allegedly died by suicide after learning about his mother’s death in Medak district.
The incident occurred in Peddashankarampet mandal on Friday night, according to locals and relatives.
The deceased was identified as Praveen from Makta Lakshmapur village.
His mother, Bethamma, had allegedly died by suicide at her home in Hyderabad earlier.
Mother and Son Die by Suicide in Separate Incidents
Bethamma had moved to Hyderabad with her husband for work, while Praveen remained in the village for his education.
According to relatives, Bethamma and her husband frequently argued.
They reportedly had another heated argument on Friday night.
Following the argument, Bethamma allegedly died by suicide at their Hyderabad residence.
Praveen was reportedly in the village when he received the news of his mother’s death.
Relatives said he became deeply distressed after learning about the incident.
He later allegedly died by suicide on the outskirts of Makta Lakshmapur.
The deaths of the mother and son left residents shocked and distressed.
Police registered a case and began an investigation into the incidents.
