Southwest Monsoon To Enter Telangana By June 22

Hyderabad, June 20 (Maxim News): Southwest Monsoon has brought some relief to the people reeling under high temperatures.  Monsoon movement has started since June 11 which was stalled at the Karnataka-AP border.  Today it spread to more parts of AP.  The weather department is predicting that there are chances of entering Telangana by June 22.

On the other hand, light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning are likely to occur in some places in the state on Tuesday and Wednesday. The intensity of the sun continued on Monday in the state.  Temperatures were high Bhadrachalam rather than normal in many places.  Khammam, Ramagundam, Medak and Bhadrachalam regions recorded more than 6 degrees above normal. 

Hailstorm blew in 36 Mandals of 13 districts.  In 10 Mandals, the intensity was highest, 2 each in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Mulugu districts, Peddapalli, and Rajanna Sirisilla, Severe hailstorms occurred in each mandal of Suryapet. Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Kumarabhim Asifabad, and Manchiryala districts.  The maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 44.2 degrees Celsius in Munagala mandal of Suryapet district.
