Hyderabad, Aug.14 (Maxim News): Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy appreciated the Hyderabad Cycle Group which has undertaken a by-cycle rally from Hyderabad to Nagpur on the occasion of Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu’celebrations to mark 75 years of Independence.
The Speaker, who was on the way to Bansuwada from Hyderabad on Sunday morning, stopped his convoy on the National Highway looking at the participants of Hyderabad Cycle Group at near Chegunta town in Medak district and spoke with them for some time, asking the motive behind undertaking the yatra.
The participants said the cycle rally was taken up aimed at propagating patriotism among the people and spreading the importance of celebrating 75 years of Independence Day.
The Speaker complimented their initiative of undertaking the yatra and said that the Independence Day celebrations were belonged to all sections of the people in the country. (Maxim News)
