Speaker’s Notices To Defected MLAs: A Plus Point For BRS?
Hyderabad, Aug 23 (Maxim News): A key development has taken place in Telangana politics. Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar has recently issued notices to the MLAs who defected from the party. Notices were sent to five of the 10 MLAs who defected from the party yesterday. It is reported that notices will be issued to five more today.
Meanwhile, following the Supreme court’s orders, Speaker Gaddam Prasad has issued notices to the party’s defected MLAs. It seems that the notices were issued after discussing with legal experts. There is excitement over what the defected MLAs will do with the Speaker’s notices. With this, Telangana politics has once again become a topic of discussion. However, will the affected leaders return to the BRS fold with the Speaker’s notices? or will they resign? it remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, the Speaker has issued notices to Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy for joining the Congress party after winning from the BRS party. The notices stated that he should immediately explain the complaints given by the BRS party. Similarly, it is reported that four other MLAs have also received notices from the Speaker. However, MLA Krishnamohan Reddy said on Speaker Prasad Kumar’s notices that he will respond to the notices he received soon. He clarified that he did not change the party and did not join the Congress party. He said that he met CM Revanth Reddy politely for the development of the Gadwal Constitutency, MLA Krishnamohan Reddy said that he is still in the BRS party.
On the other hand, Jagtial MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar has not yet received the Speaker’s notice. Sanjay contested as a BRS candidate in the last assembly election and won as the Jagtial MLA. After that, MLA Sanjay Kumar is working with the Congress. However, since the Congress party has not taken the primary membership, the MLA is anxious about the notices. Sanjay has not resigned from the BRS yet. With this, there is a discussion locally whether Sanjay will be given notices? or not. (Maxim News)
