Special Arrangements Made At CBI-Hyd To Investigate MLAs Poaching Case?

Hyderabad, Jan 7 (Maxim News) It seems that the Delhi branch of CBI has entered the field in the case of the Moinabad Farmhouse MLAs Purchase case. It is reported that Special arrangements have already been made in the Hyderabad CBI office for investigation. It is expected that the case will be registered in Delhi itself once the technical hurdles are cleared. Even though there is a CBI unit in Hyderabad too, Delhi officials’ involvement has become a topic of discussion. An SP-level officer has already reached Hyderabad from the national capital and engaged in the arrangements.

It may be recalled that the High Court has allowed the CBI investigation in the case of baiting MLAs. An official copy of this has been collected by CBI officials. A case can be registered based on that. The case should also be registered by the investigation department in the area where the offense is alleged to have actually been committed. In special circumstances, these responsibilities can be assigned to other departments. This is all an internal matter. The transaction related to purchasing MLAs took place in Cyberabad. Even if it is transferred to CBI, the Hyderabad division will have to register the case. But, now the Delhi authorities have become a topic of discussion. That means the authorities may consider this as a special case.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad CBI department was once headed by a Joint Director i.e. an IG-level officer. But, now only an SP-level officer is looking after this department. While the intention of continuing this prestigious case under the supervision of senior officials, an FIR was filed in Delhi itself. Information to be registered. In order for the CBI to conduct an investigation in the state, the state government has to give permission. The state government has already issued orders denying this. An official revealed that in order to register a CBI case, despite the High Court’s orders, the state government should also give its consent in principle. As part of this, it seems that the official from Delhi has written a letter to the State government to agree to the registration of the case. But, it is reported that no response has been received from the government yet. A case is likely to be registered once such technical hurdles are cleared. The accused said that the officials will work from a special office set up in the Hyderabad division after registering the case in Delhi. (Maxim News)
