Special Control Rooms To Set Up For Information Of Telugu Passengers
Hyderabad, June 3 (Maxim News): South Central Railway CPRO Rakesh said that the South Central Railway is on high alert after the Odisha Coromandal train accident.
Speaking to a Telugu news channel, about the train accident, he said that all arrangements have been made so that the passengers do not face any problems. He said that special control rooms have been set up for the information of Telugu passengers.
19 trains going towards Odisha have been canceled and 26 trains have been diverted due to the serious nature of the accident. The money was refunded to the passengers due to the cancellation of the trains.
Rakesh revealed that the railway staff is continuously working with the state government in the area where the accident happened. Once the work is completed there, the trains will run as usual.
On the other hand, the officials found that there were 178 Telugu people in the train that met with the accident in odisha. Officials are in the process of collecting information about the dead, injured and missing. Control rooms have been set up in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, eluru and krishna district Collectorates. Out of 39 people who were supposed to land in Vijayawada, 23 people came in contact. Seven phones are switched off. On the other hand, five passengers did not pick up their phones. A team of AP officials went to odisha for relief operations.
