KBR Park flyover works | Hyderabad, April 2: Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Jayesh Ranjan, directed engineering officials to speed up the KBR Park flyover works.
Jayesh Ranjan reviewed the project progress during a field inspection here on Thursday.
Jayesh Ranjan inspected the stretch from LV Prasad Eye Institute to Jubilee Hills Check Post up to Road No.45. GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan and Chief Engineer Sahadev Ratnakar also joined the inspection.
Jayesh Ranjan said the State Government is building this flyover as a major infrastructure project. Moreover, the project aims to provide a permanent solution to traffic congestion in the area.
KBR Park flyover works | Weekly reviews to monitor progress
Jayesh Ranjan asked officials to prepare a clear action plan. He also told them to ensure faster execution of the pending works. In addition, he directed officials to conduct weekly reviews to monitor progress.
Meanwhile, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan also stressed the need for faster completion. He instructed Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited to deploy more machinery. He also asked the company to increase manpower to speed up construction.
Officials said faster completion of the flyover will help reduce traffic congestion. Furthermore, it will improve connectivity in Jubilee Hills and surrounding areas.
Work is currently progressing at different points along the corridor. Authorities expect better progress after increasing resources.
