Hyderabad, June 18 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari this morning inaugurated New Government Junior College building at Marredpally, Secunderabad.
Ch. Malla Reddy, Malkajgiri MP, G. Sayanna, Cantonment MLA, Kumari Nalini Kiran, Cantonment 4th Ward Member, Dr A. Ashok, IAS, Commissioner, Intermediate Education and Raghava Shankar Rao, Donor and President, Raghava Laxmi Devi Memorial Trust, Hyderabad, officials and students participated.
The Government Junior College, SP Road, Secunderabad does not have a building of its own. R. Shankar Rao, President, Raghava Laxmi Devi Memorial Trust, Hyderabad, has come forward to construct a building for GJC, SP Road in the memory of his late wife Smt. Raghava Laxmi Devi. He constructed the new building at a cost of Rs 200 lakh.
The State government issued order changing the name of Government Junior College, S.P. Road as Raghava Laxmi Devi Government Junior College, S.P. Road at Maredpally, Secunderabad, named after Donor from the academic year 2018-2019. The Deputy CM felicitated R. Shankar Rao, President, Raghava Laxmi Devi Memorial Trust, Hyderabad for his gesture. (Maxim News)
