Srivari Hundi Records 100 Crores In The Month Of June This Year
Tirumala, July 5 (Maxim News): In a record of its sorts, the month of June recorded a Hundi collection of Rs. 100 crores in Tirumala apart from registering a total of 24.66 lakh pilgrims who had darshan of Lord Venkateswara for the month.
The month of June in 2019 recorded better figures when compared to June last in every area, be it distribution of laddus, serving of annaprasadam, tonsures etc.
When 24.10lakh pilgrims had darshan of Lord during June last, this year an additional 2.56 lakh pilgrims had darshan while the Srivari Hundi collected Rs.91.81 cr during last June, this year it has crossed the magic figure taking the total to Rs.100.37crores.
In other areas, when Annaprasadam was served to 64.05lakh pilgrims during last June, this year 71.02lakh have been served. About 95.58lakh laddus were distributed during last year while this year the figure has been recorded as 1.13crores. In this June 12.88lakh tonsures were recorded as against 11.90lakhs during June last. The occupancy rate of accommodation recorded a percentage of 107 this June against 106% during last. (Maxim News)
