This year, a total of 5,09,403 students will appear for the exams, including 2,58,895 boys and 2,50,508 girls. To ensure smooth conduct, the Education Department has appointed 2,650 Chief Superintendents (CSs), District Officers (DOs), and 28,100 invigilators.

Students Allowed Even if 5 Minutes Late

In a relief to students, the Education Department has relaxed the late-entry rule. Previously, students arriving even one minute late were not allowed inside the exam center. However, this year, students will be permitted to enter up to five minutes late after the scheduled start time.

Despite this relaxation, officials advise students to arrive at least 30 minutes early to avoid last-minute stress and write their exams in a calm state of mind.

Changes in the SSC Exam Pattern

The SSC exams will continue to be conducted in offline mode. However, from the 2024-25 academic year, the internal marks system has been removed. Previously, exams were conducted for 80 marks, with 20 marks allotted for internal assessment. Now, the final exams will be conducted for 100 marks.

Authorities have urged students to be well-prepared and adhere to the guidelines for a smooth examination process. (Maxim News)
