Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): Allipuram Venkateshwar Reddy, Chairman Sports Authority of Telangana State here on Friday felicitated Telangana State Athletic Team (Boys & Girls) who have performed exemplarily in the Khelo – India National Level Competitions held in Gandhi Nagar Gujarat from January 27 to Feb 1.
The Team has won Nine (9) medals (2- Gold, 5- Silver & 2- Bronze). The Team has secured Runner up Trophy in Boys U-14 category.
The Chairman, VC&MD, SATS A. Dinakar Babu, Officials of SATS and Mr. Ghouse, Athletic Coach have congratulated the team members.
The chairman wished good luck and suggested to put more efforts in training in order to achieve medals at International and Olympic level.
Sports Authority of Telangana State will extend all possible support and encouragement to the athletes. He wished the Coach Mr. Ghouse to emulate Mr. Ilias Babar, Droncharya Awardee in producing International athletes to get name and fame to our state of Telangana and to achieve Bangaru Pathakala Telangana.
