Hyderabad, Jan.12 (Maxim News): BJP leaders today called on the governor of the state Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and submitted a representation to her urging her to take steps for the appointment of vice chancellors to various universities of the state.
BJP National General Secretary Muralidhar Rao, OBC Morcha national president of the party Dr. K. Laxman, MLC N.Ramachandra Rao and others were part of the delegation.
Speaking to media persons later, Muralidhar Rao alleged that the state government had not appointed the vice chancellors for a long time. He claimed that the state government had appointed the vice chancellors to two universities of the state after observing their agitation on the issue. He demanded the state government to also appointed the university council members. (Maxim News)
