State Congress Leaders Want Rahul To Become Party Chief Again

Hyderabad, March.3 (Maxim News): Congress party leader Preetham on Tuesday took charge as the chairman of SC Cell of the party at Gandhi Bhavan in the city. The CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, APCC president Dr S. Sailajanath, AICC Secretaries Dasoju Shravan and SA Sampath Kumar, former PCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah and other party leaders took part in the ceremony.

TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy could not attend the program as he was in Delhi but sent his special message to the newly elected chairman. Speaking on the occasion, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the Congress party would be strengthened if its SC cell was strengthened in the state. He said that the party had several challenges before it. He said that the party had ensured that the Dalits of the state led a life of dignity. He said that the SCs also got reservations due to the decades long rule of the party. He said that nobody in the country had led life of fears in the 60 year long rule of the Congress party and added that the Lakhs of the people of the country were living fearful life during the six year long rule of the BJP. He said that the people of the country had been forced to prove their identity. He said that future of thousands of countrymen had turned clueless due to CAS and NRC.

He said that the situation had arisen due to the drop in the number of Congress party MPs in Parliament. He told the people of the state that it was not enough for them to come on the roads but they should vote for the party and allow it raise their problem in Parliament. Targeting CM KCR he alleged that the CM had cheated the Muslims and tribals of the state by not providing 12 percent reservations to them. He said that both PM Modi and CM KCR compete with each other when it came to cheating people of the country and the state. Commenting on the leadership of the party leader Rahul Gandhi, he said that Rahul should become the party president once again and lead the party. (Maxim News)
