State Govt Should Move Forward With Comprehensive Action: Kishan Reddy Comments On Heavy Rains

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (Maxim News): Union Minister Kishan Reddy has responded to the incessant heavy rains across the Telangana state. He said that the Indian Home Ministry is monitoring the rains. He said that the NDRF personnel required for Telangana state are available in all districts.  Kishan Reddy revealed that he is constantly informing the Center about everything.

Kishan Reddy explained that national highways have been damaged in many districts of northern Telangana. Railway lines have been damaged in many places. He said that they are trying to repair them regularly. As there is a possibility of heavy rains in Telangana for the next two days, he directed the state government to move forward with comprehensive action.

He advised the people of Hyderabad to be more careful. He said that the underground drainage system in the city is in disarray. Kishan Reddy stated that due to lack of funds in the Water Works Department, even small works are not being done on time. (Maxim News)
