State Mahila Congress Leaders Meet Guv

Hyderabad, Nov.27 (Maxim News): State Mahila Congress Leaders called Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan and apprised her of state of affairs of various democratic institutions like Telangana Lokayukta, State Human Rights Commission and Mahila Commission in the state.

The delegation was led by party spokesperson Indra Sohan. They told the Governor that the State government was diluting all the democratic institutions by not making appointments of chairpersons to them. Sobhan also talked about the RTC workers agitation and complained that the State government was reluctant to solve the problems raised by the RTC workers. She urged the Governor to intervene and solve their problems.

Speaking to mediapersons later, Indira said the Governor had reacted positively on the problems raised by them and assured that she would try to solve those problems. The delegation comprised of K. Sudharani, Sridevi, Sailaja, Rama, Roopa, Kirti, Anuradha and others. (Maxim News)
