Strengthening Of TSPSC: CM Revanth Meets UPSC Chairperson
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 5 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has failed to conduct the single examinations properly since its formation in the last 9 and half years of KCR’s BRS party rule.
Almost all the 17 exams it conducted in its period were not successful and in all the papers there were irregularities of paper leakages which have become the major issues and several aspirants lost their lives and could not get a single job, the issue has become more serious particularly during the last two years.
However, the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister for Irrigation N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with the Chief Secretary Santi Kumari met the Union Public Service Commission Chairperson Manoj Soni here and discussed for restructuring of the state public service commission on the lines of the UPSC.
Sources in the Telangana government said the Chief Minister held a detailed discussion with the UPSC chairperson on strengthening the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). A day before the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy had said, “We will discuss with the UPSC chief on restructuring the TSPSC on the lines of the UPSC for a transparent recruitment process.
“Unemployment is a serious problem in Telangana, “he had told reporters, the leak of question papers of recruitment tests conducted by the TSPSC had rocked the state. Both the Congress and the BJP had held a series of protests against the then KCR government. (Maxim News)
