Sudden Weather Change in Hyderabad; Orange Alert Issued
Hyderabad, Feb. 25 (Maxim News): The weather in Hyderabad city changed suddenly on Wednesday.
The day began with intense heat in the morning. However, by afternoon, the sky turned completely cloudy, indicating possible rainfall.
Weather experts have advised city residents and motorists to remain cautious.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal three days ago is influencing the weather conditions.
Due to its impact, light to moderate rains accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely in Hyderabad, as well as in Rangareddy and Medchal districts. An “Orange Alert” has been issued for the city.
At present, the temperature in Hyderabad is recorded at 29°C. As there is a possibility of rainfall in the evening, authorities have urged motorists and pedestrians to stay alert.
People living in low-lying areas have been advised to be cautious. Warnings have also been issued to avoid standing near electric poles during thunderstorms.
Sudden rainfall may lead to traffic disruptions in several parts of the city.
Therefore, citizens are advised to plan their travel carefully and take necessary precautions. (Maxim News)
