The petitioner told the Supreme Court that the authorities there are acting contrary to the guidelines given by the Supreme Court in the past, and that there have also been tense situations at the lands for a few days.
According to the Supreme Court’s verdict, an expert committee has to be formed to clear the forest area, but justice BR Gavai mentioned before the bench that an immediate inquiry should be conducted into the works undertaken by the Telangana government that are causing harm to the environment.
The bench, which immediately responded to this, said that it will hold a hearing at 3.45 pm. The Supreme Court has ordered the High Court Registrar (Judicial) to visit the Kancha Gachibowli site and submit an interim report by 3.30 pm.

The police have detained the protesting students. The students have started an agitation demanding that the lands not be auctioned.
