Swachh Bharat Abhiyan By 1 Telangana R&V Regiment NCC

Secunderabad, 25 Sep 2023: The Cadets of 1 Telangana R&V Regt of NCC Group Hyderabad have done a splendid job of bringing back the glory of the magnificent Golconda Fort with their diligent efforts. The recent cleaning event, held on 25 Sep 2023 saw NCC Cadets to restore the beauty of this iconic landmark. This accomplishment honours our heritage and highlights the power of togetherness.

The NCC fraternity thanks all participants sincerely, and encourages everyone to visit the fort and see its change. After hours of meticulous cleaning and preservation work, the results are nothing short of astonishing. The fort, which had weathered the test of time and bore witness to countless chapters in our history, has emerged from the dust and grime to showcase its enduring splendour.

The Cadet’s collective efforts have revealed intricate architectural details, vibrant murals, and historically concealed artefacts. This event signifies our commitment to preserving our rich heritage and underscores the strength of team spirit. It serves as a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with a common purpose. A total of over one hundred cadets participated in the event and collected almost half a ton of waste, mostly plastic waste. 

Colonel PP Borah, Commanding Officer lauded the efforts made by all the cadets and asked the cadets to educate the environment on cleanliness to preserve the great monuments of our country.
