Hyderabad, October 21: BJP leaders Swami Goud and Dasoju Sravan joined TRS here on Friday. Minister for Municipal Administration KTR invited both of them into the party fold. Speaking on the occasion, KTR glorified Swami Goud’s heroic struggle in the Telangana movement. He also praised Dasoju Shravan as a self-made leader.
KTR hinted that more leaders are going to join TRS. With this, confusion started in the Telangana BJP. As many leaders are saying goodbye to the party after being hit by TRS ‘Operation Akarsh’. Ahead of the Munugode by-elections, BJP is feeling the heat as BC leaders left the party.
However, Jitender Reddy, Vithal, Enugu Ravinder Reddy, former minister Devender Goud’s son Virender Goud and others have condemned the rumours of switching over their loyalties to TRS. It is reported that Minister KTR called former MLA Koona Srisailam Goud. With this, the BJP leadership took corrective measures and reportedly asked them not to leave the party.
