TADJAC Condemns Rs 7 Per Liter Hike In LPG Rate

Hyderabad, Feb.2 (Maxim News): Condemning sudden Rs 7 per liter increase in LPG rate from Saturday, Telangana Auto Drivers JAC said Auto Drivers bandh in twin cities on Feb 14.

The Auto drivers were also demanding a total ban on the diesel-run cabs on the city roads and also a ban on issue of new cab permits. Their other demands include Rs 10,000 grant to every Auto like Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy did, enforcing prohibition, immediate issue of 20,000 new auto permits and stopping of auto black marketing in the city and formulating of guidelines to stop private auto financiers’ harassment.

In a statement here today, JAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan said the KCR government failed to increase auto fares in the last six years. He demanded Rs 15 per km rate keeping in view the traffic congestion and frequent traffic jams on the city roads consuming more fuel and time. (Maxim News)
