Telangana recorded 7,754 new Corona cases and 51 fatalities on Friday, taking the number of deaths to 2,312 and total number of positive cases so far to 4,43,360. The number of active cases in Telangana has reached 78,888.

Telangana recorded 7994 new Covid cases and 58 fatalities on Wednesday, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 2208 and total number of positive cases so far to 4,27,960.

Telangana recorded its largest surge of Covid cases and fatalities since the pandemic started last year with authorities reporting 5,093 new cases and 15 fatalities on Saturday.

India has reported 2,34,692 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day spike ever, pushing the country’s overall Covid tally to 1,45,26,609, according to the Health Ministry data released on Saturday.

The daily count of Covid cases in Telangana have continued to rise with health authorities recording 3, 840 new cases and nine fatalities as on Thursday.
