Low Pressure System Impacts Southern States, But No Affect To Telangana

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (Maxim News): As Uttarayana begins in the Telugu states, nights will shorten and days will get longer. While cold weather is expected to persist for some time, the latest weather report indicates a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal that has shifted towards the southeast Arabian Sea. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) directed states that this will affect Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today, but no alerts have been issued for the Telugu states.

Satellite predictions suggest that skies will be partly cloudy throughout the day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with strong winds expected. However, there is no chance of rain.

Winds in the Bay of Bengal are blowing at speeds of 35 km/h, while in Andhra Pradesh, winds will be at 17 km/h, and 15 km/h in Telangana. Travelers are advised to stay alert.

Temperatures today are expected to reach 27°C in Telangana and 30°C in Andhra Pradesh. At night, temperatures will drop to 18°C in Telangana and 21°C in AP.

Humidity levels are 50% in Telangana and between 60-70% in Andhra Pradesh, with humidity increasing to 90% at night in both states. Overall, the weather will be pleasant for travel on the day of the Kanuma festival. (Maxim News)
