Hyderabad, Sept. 25: Kalapathar Police participated in a Ganesh Laddu auction organised by the Mahesh Ganesh Youth Association at Mochi Colony on Friday.
The auction was held under the limits of Kalapathar Police Station. The police team participated in the bidding and won the Laddu for Rs 33,000.
The initiative was conducted under the supervision of Rajendranagar Zone DCP S Sreenivas, IPS, and Falaknuma ACP M A Javeed.

Police officials said their participation was aimed at strengthening engagement with local residents and youth.
The event also provided an opportunity for police personnel to interact with members of the local community during the Ganesh festivities.
The Hyderabad City Police said such community programmes help strengthen relations between police personnel and residents.
The Kalapathar SHO, DI and other police station staff attended the programme.
The police department said the initiative reflects its focus on community oriented policing and public engagement.
