Sajjanar monitored the immersion process and traffic diversions through CCTV feeds from the control room at Banjara Hills.
He coordinated with senior officials from various government departments to review the situation across major procession routes.
The Hyderabad police have deployed extensive surveillance systems for the final immersion procession. Nearly 10,000 CCTV cameras are linked to the command centre for round the clock monitoring.
Hyderabad Ganesh Immersion Monitored From Command Centre
Sajjanar said the TGICCC team had remained alert since Ganesh festivities began on September 14.
Senior officials from electricity, GHMC, TGSRTC, health and Roads and Buildings departments have been coordinating from the centre.
He said the coordination has helped officials address field level issues quickly during the immersion process.
Live feeds from CCTV cameras, drones and specialised surveillance vehicles are being used to monitor the procession routes.
Sajjanar said the Khairatabad and Balapur Ganesh processions were moving without major disruptions. He also said idols from the Old City, Rajendranagar and Golconda areas were being transported smoothly.
According to the policeimmers Police and civic agencies have deployed cranes and other equipment to speed up immersion operations.
The commissioner said officials were targeting completion of the remaining immersion operations by early Saturday.
More than 30 heavy cranes and additional equipment have been arranged around Hussain Sagar. Baby ponds have also been provided at designated locations.
Traffic diversions are being implemented along Telugu Talli Flyover, Tank Bund, NTR Marg and Necklace Road under the supervision of senior police officers.
Sajjanar also appreciated police personnel and NSS volunteers involved in maintaining law and order and assisting devotees.
He thanked the TGICCC director and team for coordinating the arrangements with various departments.
The programme was attended by TGICCC Director V B Kamalasan Reddy, SP P Pooja, SP Venkat Reddy and senior officials from other departments.
Earlier, Hyderabad police had announced the deployment of nearly 20,000 personnel, 10,000 CCTV cameras and 24 drones for the final immersion procession.
