A police constable, who was suspended from services in a ganja case and working at Burgampahad police station in Kothagudem district, attempted suicide by consuming pesticide on Sunday.

A police constable died, allegedly by hanging from a tree in an open place in Yacharam here on Tuesday morning. The reason for the suicide is yet to be known.
