Talasani Exhorts Collectors To Seed Up Execution Of Welfare Programs
Hyderabad, Feb.4 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said officials concerned to speed up welfare schemes in State. Newly appointed Collector of Hyderabad district Shweta Mahathy called on the minister at his chambers in Masab Tank here.
While appreciating her on the new assignment, the minister advised her to work speedily to deliver welfare schemes to the poor. The State government has been spending huge funds for welfare of the poor, he said, adding that the officials in all the districts have to clear applications of marriage and pension schemes.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was offering the welfare schemes to help the poor and needy in the State, he asked the officials to initiate stringent measures against land grabbers in the city and districts. “Prepare land bank and recruit new advocates to clear all the pending land cases”, he said. “We are supposed to protect the lands worth crores of rupees which can be used for development”, he added. He also asked the officials to take steps to improve education and nutritious food in Anganwadi centers. (Maxim News)
