Talasani Slams TSRTC Leaders For Engineering Strike

Hyderabad, Oct.5 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today reacted strongly on the strike of the TSRTC staff and Union leaders. He expressed serious discontent at the striking employees and Union leaders for causing hardship to the people in the State.

The minister made a visit to Narayankhed in Sangareddy district. Talking to the media later, the minister slammed the RTC Unions for provoking strike. He accused the Union leaders of provoking strike by the RTC staff and employees. The employees are forced to take up strike at the behest of the Union leaders, he fumed. He also claimed that Telangana was the only State in the country to offer highest salaries to the RTC staff. “We offered 44% fitment and gave 16% interim relief”, Yadav said.

The State government was ready to address the issues of the TSRTC across the table, he said. The strike, during Dasara festival, was not right, he said and appealed to the striking employees to resume duties and offer services to people.

He also flayed the Union leaders and RTC staff for the strike which was against the norms. The government takes serious steps against the RTC staff for strike and provide alternative arrangements, he said. (Maxim News)
