Tamilisai speaking like a politician: Talasani

Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxm News): Minister for Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav today found fault with the statement of Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, saying that it’s not a right practice to level baseless allegations against the elected government.

Tamilisai, who also holds the additional charge as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, told the media in Chennai on Tuesday, that certain Chief Ministers were becoming dictatorial and went on say that it was a challenge to work with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Responding to the remarks, Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday criticised Tamilisai Soundararajan for indulging in baseless allegations against the Chief Minister and said that the Telangana Governor was behaving like a political leader.

“It is not the right practice for the Governor to level remarks against the Chief Minister by conducting the press meets. “We are not nominated persons, we were elected by the people. Those, who are holding the nominated posts, should know their limitation of power and should act accordingly. They should not speak like politician,” Talasani advised the Governor.

The Minister alleged that the Telangana Governor was showing over-enthusiasm while speaking and was crossing all the limits despite the fact that she has certain protocol procedures and has the limitation of powers.

Stating that the ruling party would respect the Constitution and those persons who are holding the constitutional posts, Talasani advised Governor Tamilisai not to indulge in altercation with the State government and hoped that she would work under the limitation of protocol in the days to come.
