Hyderabad, Feb. 5 (Maxim News): The RTC Hospital in Tarnaka has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers NABH.
This recognition marks an important milestone in the hospital’s continued efforts to deliver quality medical services and ensure patient safety.
Hospital officials said the accreditation reflects years of sustained work to improve infrastructure, clinical care, and service standards. Over the past several years, RTC Hospital Tarnaka has focused on strengthening its medical facilities and healthcare delivery systems.
The hospital upgraded its infrastructure and expanded services to meet evolving patient needs. It introduced advanced emergency and critical care services to handle serious medical conditions more effectively.
In addition, the hospital set up modular super specialty operation theatres to support complex surgical procedures.
Meanwhile, the hospital also established a full fledged cath lab to improve cardiac care services. Various treatment facilities were brought under one roof to ensure timely, safe, and specialised care for patients.
These improvements, officials said, have helped doctors and staff deliver treatment in a more efficient and secure manner. As a result, patient outcomes and safety standards have seen steady improvement.
Along with clinical services, RTC Hospital Tarnaka expanded its education and training programmes. A 100 seat BSc Nursing College and a vocational education college were started to build skilled healthcare manpower.
In addition, DNB postgraduate programmes in surgery, orthopaedics, and general medicine were launched. Officials stated that these programmes play a key role in preparing trained and competent healthcare professionals for the future.
The NABH accreditation highlights the hospital’s commitment to quality healthcare, patient safety, ethical medical practices, and medico legal compliance.
The hospital continues to focus on providing safe and high quality medical services to TGSRTC employees and their eligible dependents.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman and Managing Director Y Nagi Reddy congratulated the Superintendent and Chief Medical Officer Dr Shailaja Murthy, Medical Administrator Dr P Srinivas, and the entire medical team for their collective efforts.
Dr Shailaja Murthy said receiving the prestigious NABH certification was a matter of great pride. She noted that the entry level certification improves credibility and helps strengthen internal systems.
Dr Shailaja also acknowledged the support of hospital staff in maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.
