Tarun Chug lashes out at CM KCR

Hyderabad, Oct.31 (NSS): BJP state in charge Tarun Chug today came down heavily on the Chief Minister of the state K Chandrasekhar Rao and said that It was unfortunate that the Chief Minister of Telangana Chandrasekhar Rao was stooping too low to confuse the people of the state just for a bye-election.

Stating that KCR always talks about values in democracy, he said that the CM himself spear-headed desecration of democracy by attempting to misuse official machinery and political power at Munugode. Commenting on the speech of the CM, Chug said that the speech of the CM at a public meeting held in Chandur of Munugode Assembly Constituency on Sunday was grossly misleading and malicious.

“Firstly, he deployed all his MLAs, MPs and Ministers in the constituency with huge funds to woo the voters. He realised that it is not working as the politically conscious Munugode voters wouldn’t succumb to money or other enticements. When he has been able to see the defeat staring at him, he unveiled a drama of buying MLAs. K. Chandrasekhar Rao himself written the script and screen play for the drama which fell flat,” he said. Commenting on the cash for MLA scam, he said that the entire story itself has many holes. “The MLAs were kept away from the public gaze and suddenly in a dramatic move they were flown by CM’s Helicopter and demonstrated before the people of Munugode. They were taken away soon after the meeting in the Helicopter. Why is the Chief Minister scared? Why is he not allowing the MLAs to move freely and to come before the media? There is certainly something that the Chief Minister is hiding from the people,” he said.

Chug said that KCR undoubtedly fabricated video and audio content to confuse the people without realising that the politically awakened people of Telangana would not believe such false narratives. He made it clear that the allegations of the CM that the BJP tried to buy MLAs was false. (NSS)
