Amaravati, Nov.6 (Maxim News): The state committee of opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was formed today. The committee has 219 members. Of this 18 are Vice Presidents, 16 are general secretaries of the party. A total of 18 leaders have been spokesperson and 58 leaders have been appointed as the executive secretaries of the party.
A total of 108 leaders have been appointed as the state secretaries and a leader has been as the treasurer. The party has said that it had given importance to all sections of the society and added that 61 percent of the posts have been given to the weaker sections of the state. The average age of the state committee leaders is 48 years. 41 percent of the posts have been given to the BC leaders, 11 percent to the SCs ,3 percent to the STs and 6 percent to the minorities of the state.
Senior leaders of the party Prattipati pulla rao, nimmala kistappa, Jyotula Nehru have been appointed as the state Vice Presidents. The other senior leaders of the party payyagula Keshav, anagani Satya Prasad, devineni Uma, N.Amarnath reddy, Bhuma Akhila Priya have been appointed as the general secretaries of the party.
