Teenmaar Mallanna Vows to Block Kavitha’s Telangana Tour, Alleges Conspiracy and Attack by Jagruthi Activists
Hyderabad, July 13 (Maxim News): In a dramatic escalation of the political feud between MLC Teenmaar Mallanna and BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, Mallanna declared that Kavitha would not be allowed to tour Telangana, accusing her of orchestrating a physical attack on him and his team. The fiery remarks come a day after his office in Medipally was vandalized, allegedly by activists from Telangana Jagruthi.
Speaking to reporters, Teenmaar Mallanna lashed out at Kavitha and her supporters, saying, “They can attack our offices, but they cannot kill our self-respect. This is not an attack on me—it’s an attack on the entire BC community.”
“This Is a Fight for BC Empowerment”
Mallanna framed the controversy as a larger issue of Backward Class (BC) empowerment, asserting that the political elite were threatened by the rising voice of the marginalized. “We are fighting to bring BCs and oppressed communities to power, and this won’t be stopped by violence or intimidation,” he said.
He also alleged that Kavitha’s followers attempted to assassinate him, claiming that around 40 individuals stormed his office, injured staff, and tried to snatch the gun from his security personnel. “This is no longer a personal matter—this is about protecting the dignity of the BCs,” he added.
Offices Under Threat, Media Under Fire
Teenmaar Mallanna warned that after the attacks on Q News and Maha TV, the ABN Andhra Jyothi office could be next. While condemning the violence, he said that even if such institutions are attacked, “our voices cannot be silenced.”
He further stated that several ministers and senior officials from the government had contacted him for details about the incident, indicating growing concern over the security and political fallout.
Questions Ethics and Political Legitimacy
Raising serious allegations, Mallanna questioned Kavitha’s ethical standing. “The Ethics Committee has already made recommendations against her. With what ethics is she accusing me now? Who gave her the right to attack?” he asked, daring her to file a complaint against him anywhere.
He criticized her for filing a complaint with the Legislative Council Chairman and sarcastically questioned if the Chairman had given her permission to initiate attacks. “She is using her influence to suppress BC voices,” Mallanna alleged.
Open Challenge to Kavitha and BRS
In a sharp warning, Teenmaar Mallanna declared: “From tomorrow, we will show what the BCs are capable of. The people will not forget this. Politically, we will take responsibility for bringing your downfall in the next three years.”
Mallanna emphasized that the Telangana dialect he used was misunderstood, claiming that he did not speak in a disrespectful manner. “This is our language, our identity. Twisting it to build a narrative is unfair,” he said.
Political Storm Intensifies
As the war of words continues, this controversy threatens to spiral into a full-blown political and social issue in Telangana, especially with BC empowerment becoming a central point of friction. All eyes are now on the state’s political leadership and law enforcement as they navigate the volatile situation.
