Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 1 (Maxim News): Positive growth has been recorded in GST collections across the country. Significant development has also been seen in the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telangana is leading the way in GST collections. Domestic GST revenue of Rs 5,327 crore was recorded in September, with a growth of 18 percent. The total post-settlement SGST received by the state from the beginning of the financial year (April) to September is Rs 22,231 crore. A total growth of 18 percent has been recorded. Telangana’s tax collection has lagged the national average growth rate.
Meanwhile, GST collections in the state of Andhra Pradesh have also registered a steady growth. Domestic GST revenue of Rs. 3,599 crore was recorded in the month of September. This was recorded as a growth of 6 percent. The total post-settlement SGST revenue collected by AP between April and September 2026 was recorded at Rs. 19,598 crore. A growth of 18 percent was recorded. The latest GST report revealed that the revenue coming to the states in the form of taxes along with the settlement process is promising. (Maxim News)
