Hyderabad: Telangana schools will observe 13 days of Dasara holidays from October 10 to 22 this year.
The School Education Department announced the vacation schedule for schools across the state.
The holidays will apply to schools irrespective of their management.
Schools will reopen on October 23 after the Dasara break.
Telangana Schools Schedule Dasara Exams and Holidays
Before the Dasara holidays, schools will conduct Summative Assessment I examinations.
Classes VI to X will write their exams from October 1 to 9.
Primary school examinations will take place from October 5 to 9.
Meanwhile, junior colleges will also observe Dasara holidays during the same period.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education announced the vacation from October 10 to 21.
Junior colleges will reopen on October 22.
Before the break, intermediate students will appear for half yearly examinations from October 3 to 9.
The schedules give students a short break after the completion of their respective examinations.
