Hyderabad, Sept. 17: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said India would continue to develop under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Naidu made the remarks during the Varanasi Vadnagar Seva Sankalp Yatra on Thursday.
The event was organised in Varanasi to mark Modi’s 76th birthday.
Naidu said the country was proud of Modi and expressed happiness over his birthday celebrations.
He said Modi’s decisions would contribute to India’s development over the next 25 years.
Chandrababu Naidu Speaks at Varanasi Sankalp Yatra
Naidu described Varanasi as his “karma bhoomi” and recalled that people from the constituency had elected Modi to Parliament three times.
He also referred to the government’s claim that 25 crore people had moved out of poverty.
Naidu called on people to work hard and contribute to nation building.
The Varanasi event brought together several NDA leaders and ministers.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Chirag Paswan and other leaders participated in the programme.
Earlier, Naidu and other leaders offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.
The Varanasi Vadnagar Seva Sankalp Yatra formed part of the birthday celebrations for Modi.
