Telangana Assembly Elections Within 2 To 3 Months: Vikas Raj

Hyderabad, Sept 23 (Maxim News): Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana, Vikas Raj said that the elections in the state are two to three months away.  

He said that arrangements are being made for the elections.  They are preparing to go to the elections as per the schedule.  

Inaugurating the media center in BRK Bhavan, he said that the special summary revision of voters will be completed in another week. he said that after the final voter list, the officials in the districts will be made aware of EVMs.  15 lakh new voters have joined.  He said that the amendment of voters is going on.  He said that they are trying to increase the number of women voters.  He said that the conduct of elections will be very transparent.

Vikas Raj revealed that the Central Election Commission will tour the state on October 3, 4 and 5.  He said that 20 Central and State enforcement agencies are going to work in the state. He said that many complaints have been received on many issues.  He said that there have been complaints about address changes within the GHMC.  Action will be taken against them. (Maxim News)
