Fire Broke Out In A Govt School At Shaikpet

Hyderabad, Sept 23 (Maxim News): Fire broke out in the Government Residential School at Shaikpet Residential School under Filmnagar Police Station. Two students were seriously injured.  

The students in the hostel room arranged the Ganesha idol and lit the lamp as part of the night puja.  A screen with blankets was arranged around the lamp to prevent it from going out. The blanket caught fire in the wind and a fire broke out.  The students ran out as thick smoke filled the room. A student named Neeraj got seriously injured when he was caught in the fire while going out. Another student was injuredBoth were treated at Osmania Hospital. A case has been registered at Film Nagar Police Station regarding the incident.  The threat was averted as the students ran out in time.  (Maxim News)
